Famous Thai Dishes Thailand is well known for its traditional food. It is generally very healthy with a lot of vegetables and not much fat, but some dishes are hot and spicy because of the generous use of chili in cooking. So when you are ordering your meal, we recommend you to tell the waiter if you like it spicy or not. Below we have listed a few of the most commonly served dishes served in The Kingdom:   Tom Yum Kung - A spicy lemon grass soup. Often served with shrimps or seafood.   Khao Phad - Fried rice with chicken, seafood, pork or beef. Often served with vegetables and half a lime.   Khao Man Gai - Chicken with plain rice.   Kaeng Phet - Red curry in coconut milk served with chicken, seafood, pork or beef.   Khao Tom - Rice soup with pork (popular breakfast).   Kaeng Masaman - A Malay inspired and creamy coconut soup with potato. Popular in south Thailand.   Tom Kha Gai - A coconut milk soup with chicken and galanga root.

	El Dorado Restaurant and Bar At Lamai Beach. A dining El dorado International, European and Thai menu. A very popular barbecue grill every Wednesday with marinated meat and a range of delicious sauces and salads.   Location: Moo 3, Tambon Maret, Koh Samui (In the South/Center of Lamai beach).
	Suthee - BBQ and restaurant At Ring Road, North Lamai. Affordable menu A traditional Thai restaurant with very reasonable prices. Thai and international menu. Barbecue everyday. Eat as much as you can.   Location: North Lamai, on the Samui Ring Road, 100 meters South of IT Complex.
	Kokomiko Restaurant At Ring Road, close to Hinta Hinyai South of Lamai A small but cozy restaurant with a menu including Thai, German and International dishes. We definitely recommend the steaks. Beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks.   Location: 127/4, Moo 3, Tambon Maret, Koh Samui (South of Lamai beach, close to the Post Office).
	Rocky's Restaurant Located inside Rocky Resort, between Lamai and Hua Thanon, close to Hinta Hinyai.
