Beaches in the South

In the southern part of Koh Samui, you'll find beaches such as; Thong Krut, Bang Kao and Hua Thanon. These three beaches are also well worth a visit. If you do not live at any of these three beaches, we recommend a day trip there and take this opportunity to visit a waterfall, tiger zoo, the Samui Aquarium, monkey show, or temple, etc. on the way. You will find all these attractions in the sourthern parts of the island. Further information is found here.

Beaches in the West

On the western side of Samui, you'll find Taling Ngam. This beach is clearly worth a visit because the sunset view from here is really magnificent.
Lipa Noi and Bang Por are two other nice beaches in the northwest part of Samui. These beaches are not crowded at all (especially not in low season), which means that they have retained the charm and paradise feeling, which many aspire. Both are excellent destinations for day trips, family picnic or sunset dining.
Lipa Noi is shallow which makes it suitable for children and families. A marina is planned in the area, but nothing seems definite at the time of writing. The famous "jet set resort", Nikki Beach is located in Lipa Noi.
